Graduate Scholarships

The purpose of the fund is to provide assistance in research activities which seeks to promote research and education in science ethics.  The award shall be left to the discretion of the Chemistry Department Chair in accordance with the selection guidelines.

Criteria:

The salaries for teaching assistants and research assistants are competitive and match or exceed Stipend X requirements.  Stipend X payment schedules are posted here.

Chancellor's Distinguished Fellowships

Criteria:

Incoming Ph.D. candidates with a GPA of 3.5 are also eligible for Chancellor's Distinguished Fellowships. These pay all tuition for the entire Ph.D. program. To be eligible for a Chancellor Fellowship for the fall semester, we need to have your completed application and all necessary documents by February 15 of the year when the scholarship is to begin. Earlier receipt of these documents will be helpful. Recipients are limited to American citizens and permanent residents.

Kummer Innovation and Entrepreneurship Doctoral Fellows Program

Criteria:

The Kummer I&E Doctoral Fellows Program is limited to no more than 100 concurrent scholars, i.e., ca. 25 new fellows each year. The program is open to domestic and international students. Each I&E fellow will receive a 12-month stipend (30k/year) and tuition remission for required course work for up to four years.  In addition, Kummer I&E Fellows will engage in a number of exclusive opportunities.

“Your Name Here” Ethical Science Doctoral Fellows Program

Criteria:

The “Your Name Here”  Ethical Science Doctoral Fellows Program is limited to 5 scholars each year. The program is open to domestic and international students. Each ES fellow will receive a 2-month stipend and tuition remission for required course work for up to four summer semesters.  “Your Name Here”  Ethical Science Doctoral Fellows will engage in on-campus studies in block format and travel to organize workshops on the ethical conduct of science on every continent.
